Scrabble

July 3rd, 2008

Scrabble is an educational game board, which helps introduce new words and spelling to young and old. Introduced in 1938, besides having a few variations developed through the years, it has stayed the same and stood the test of time.

Scrabble is a great educational board game because it helps to force the expansion of the vocabulary of its players. This may be an ideal board game to begin to play with your children because it would allow you to teach your children an expanded vocabulary.  It even forces us adults to pick up a dictionary once in while.  In the day of the TV sometimes a classic board game just might help ward off the cobwebs.
